Jammie Dodger Cupcakes!

As this blog is still just a newborn, I wanted to introduce my love for baking in style. These Jammie Dodger Cupcakes come from a recipe by Cupcake Jemma on YouTube (I’m absolutely obsessed, please do check her out if you’re a baker!) and they taste amazing.

Not only were they easier to make than I anticipated, they somehow actually taste like Jammie Dodgers, right down to the buttercream! Jemma is an absolutely cake genius and I can’t recommend this recipe enough. It’s also a fun one to try if, like me, you’re just beginning to be a bit more adventurous with your cakes. I make a mean lemon drizzle cake but other than that, until a few months ago I never really ventured too far away from classic cupcakes. These are definitely a crowd pleaser too! As a university student living in a student house this year I noticed a few of my housemates hanging around them until they were offered one and they all loved them! I’ll definitely be making them again, probably for a family party since my 7-year-old cousin is such a Jammie Dodger fan!
